Hardware virtualization

Hardware virtualization is a virtualization of operating systems and computers. It used for many reasons, specially if you don't want to install an OS in your computer for mantain the actual OS. Like execute Windows and Mac OS X at same time.

Sometimes your hardware doesn't support a OS but with virtualizations, with a good machine you can install OS like Mac OS X, including if your computer is not a Mac.

They are many softwares for do this, but the best of the best are this:

- VMware (Commercial)
- Microsoft Virtual PC (Commercial)
- Parallels for Mac (Commercial)
- Virtual Box (Free)
- Parallels (Commercial)

Windows 7 by default has a virtualizer of hardware, but you need to activate this manually on your BIOS.

You need to access to "System Configuration" and enable the "Virtualization Technology" and then just save and exit.
